Two more aspirants have stepped down from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Guber primary in Ondo State, throwing their weight behind few Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The aspirants who stepped down are Mr Jimi Odimayo and Mr Nathaniel Adojutelegan.
This comes barely two hours to the commencement of the primary on Monday.
The media aide of Odimayo , Mr Yemi Akintimide confirmed this to newsmen.
Akintimide said, ” Jimi Odimayo has stepped down from the race. His stepping down is to support Akeredolu, and to obey party supremacy.”
The number of aspirants has now reduced to eight.
