Mummy Calm Down boy gets Instagram account, mum breaks silence

Oreofeoluwa Lawal-Babalola famously known as Mummy Calm Down boy now has an Instagram account.

Oreofeoluwa had gained 935 followers on the photo-sharing platform as of 9:45 pm Thursday.

The young boy operates the account with the username ore_mommycalmdown.

TheNigerian observed that the new social media sensation had made six posts including the videos of his famous ‘Mummy Calm Down’ sessions.
Oreofeoluwa gained popularity after a video of him went viral where he is seen urging his mother to ‘calm down and rest a little’ as she was getting ready to spank him for a misdemeanour.

The video also got the attention of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who requested to see the boy.

Meanwhile,Toluige Babalola mother of Oreofeoluwa has broken her silence after the video went viral.

In an Instagram post, Mrs Babalola said she only made the video to show people how her son negotiates his way through punishment.

“This video was done to show how my intelligent son use to dramatics (sic) and negotiate any time you want to spank him not for abuse of any kind. Thank you everyone for your concern,” she wrote.
