Nigeria’s contingent to the All Africa Individual Badminton Championship, won five medals comprising of 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The team is expected to return to the country on Tuesday.

Nigeria finished second in both the men and women’s event losing to host Algeria in the men’s final and Mauritius in the women’s final.

19 countries and 86 players took part in the men’s singles event while the women’s category had 14 countries and 59 participants.
