Barely a year after Canada-based Nigerian singer and dancer, Stephanie Otobo accused Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, of impregnating her and forcing her to get an abortion, she has come out to apologize to the man of God.
Ms Otobo had made headlines in March last year when she came out with the damning accusations that Apostle Suleman had allegedly impregnated her, promised her marriage and abandoning her.
But she has now come out to say she was actually paid by some powerful politicians to blackmail Apostle Suleman.
Ms Otobo made the confession during a crusade at the Fire and Miracle Night of Omega Fire Ministries’ International Worship Centre in Auchi, Edo State, where she stepped out, took the microphone and confessed that she was paid handsomely to blackmail Apostle Suleman.
A statement by the church media department which confirmed the incident and made available to The Nigerian News reads:
“The only offense he (Apostle Suleman) committed was to have intervened in the numerous heinous crimes against the church of Christ around the nation and became a voice for the gospel.
What followed was a well-doctored drama to attack the reputation of this golden voice and seemingly reduce the volume of his voice even as more evils were planned against the church.
After all the evil efforts, the secret agenda, the heavily funded set up and the unrelenting pursuits to snare an innocent man, they were futile
The master planner has finally vindicated his church and his servant.
This is not only a victory for God’s Servant; it is a victory for the body of Christ and the church in Nigeria.
Right before our eyes in the Fire & Miracle Night of Omega Fire Ministries’ International Worship Centre, Auchi, the serial accuser and blackmailer, Stephanie Otobo, apologized to God’s Servant, Apostle Johnson Suleman, his family, church and the body of Christ for the shameless show of deceits and lies she and their paymasters embarked on sometime in 2017.”
Ms Otobo who goes by the stage name Kimora, petitioned Apostle Suleman, the founder and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries through her lawyer, , claiming that she and the pastor started a romantic relationship in Canada in 2015 with the man of God promising to marry her.
Ms Otobo who goes by the stage name Kimora, had, through her lawyer, Festus Keyamo, sued the man of God claiming that she and the pastor were in a romantic relationship since 2015 with the GO promising to marry her only to impregnate her, forced her to drink a concoction which made her lose the baby.
In the petition, addressed to the Inspector-General of Police, Ms Otobo had alleged that the pastor told her he was divorced from his wife and promised to marry her after meeting with her family for a formal introduction.
She added that she had to abandon her lucrative career, her cars, friends, and house in Canada because Suleiman promised to buy her a house in Nigeria and came back to the country only to be shunted out of his life.
