Chelsea are close to bringing Brighton & Hove Albion coach, Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge as the blues’ new manager.
According to reports, Potter has accepted Chelsea’s proposal and contracts are now being prepared.
Renowned sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted on Thursday that “Chelsea will complete the agreement with Brighton in the next hours.”
TNN earlier reported that Chelsea has identified Potter as a favourite to replace sacked manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel was relieved of his job after a poor start to the season. Chelsea lost 1-nil to GNK Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League Group E opener, prompting Tuchel’s stacking the next day.
Paris Saint-Germain coach, Mauricio Roberto Pochettino was also initially listed as another option the blues are considering for the top job. But reports has it that Graham Potter is on the verge of becoming Chelsea’s head coach.
