‘I’m not yet a superstar’ – Davido’s signee, Peruzzi

Talented Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, better known as Peruzzi, has said he is yet to attain superstardom.

The Davido Music Worldwide, DMW’s artist stated this via his Twitter page on Saturday.

Peruzzi noted that he would attain rock star status someday, adding that when that day comes he will be at the top for long.

He wrote, “Not A Superstar Yet, But I Will Be & When I Get There I Go Too Tey For There.”

Peruzzi began his musical career with Golden Boy Records in 2016, before getting signed to Davido Music World in 2018.

His best-known song is ‘Majesty’ off his 2018 album ‘Heartwork’. He was featured on 2Baba‘s hit single ‘Amaka’. He also featured on some of DMW label songs including ‘Mind’, ‘Aje’, and ‘Asa’.

Aside being a gifted vocalist, Peruzzi is also a prolific songwriter. He wrote some of Davido‘s popular hits like ‘Risky’, ‘Assurance’ among others. He also wrote Grammy winner, Burna Boy‘s ‘Pull Up’ of his 2019 ‘African Giant’ album.
