Nicki Minaj blames late American rapper, PnB Rock for his death
Popular American female rapper, Nicki Minaj, has faulted her late colleague, PnB Rock, for revealing his location online.
TNN earlier reported that PnB Rock was shot dead by an armed robber at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles, in Los Angeles, on Monday.
The 30-year-old was targeted for his jewelry and the robber removed the jewelry from the rapper before fleeing the scene, according to TMZ.
Reacting to his death via Twitter, Nicki Minaj said after what happened to Pop Smoke who was murdered after revealing his location online, no American rapper supposed to post their location to their whereabouts on social media again.
She said PnB Rock was such a pleasure to work with. She also send her condolences to the late rapper’s family.
Nicki wrote, “After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus.”
PnB Rock started his music career with his debut mixtape ‘Real N*gga Bangaz’ in 2014, and stood out due his brand of trap R&B. A year later, he secured a deal with Atlantic Records following his breakout moment with the 2015 track “Fleek.” His 2016 song, “Selfish,” peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
