Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi scored his second Premier League goal of the season in his club, Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Fulham on Friday.

The former Union Berlin man scored the opener at City Ground but it was not enough to end the Trees’ losing streak.

The Nigerian striker gave the news boys the lead eleven minutes into the game.

However, a stunning second half fightback saw Fulham score three goals in a space of six minutes to claim an important away win.

Defender Tosin Adarabioyo levelled for the visitors in the 54th minute, before João Palhinha gave Fulham the lead 3 minutes later.

Harrison Reed rounded up the fightback with a brilliant goal in the 60th minute.

Lewis O’Brien reduced the deficit for the hosts with a superb goal 17 minutes later but the Tricky Trees were unable to find an equaliser before the stoppage time whistle.
