Peseiro announces 25-man squad for Algeria Vs Nigeria Friendly

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has unveiled his 25-player roster for their international exhibition with the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

The squad included regulars like captain Ahmed Musa, William Troost-Ekong, Samuel Chukwueze, Wilfred Ndidi, and Moses Simon.

Red-hot Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika was handed a maiden call-up to the National team.

Defender Kevin Akpoguma, winger Chidera Ejuke and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye returned to the squad.

The duo of Victor Osimhen and Umar Sadiq were excluded from the list due to injuries.

Nigeria will take on Algeria on Tuesday, 27 September, at Stade Olympique d’Oran.

Both nations lost their World Cup tickets to Ghana and Cameroon in the African Zone Qualifier playoffs.
