It was a night to forget for Super Eagles duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, and their Leicester City teammates as they suffered humiliating 6-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
The foxes took the lead in the 6th minute through Youri Tielemans’ spot kick.
But Harry Kane responded two minutes later with a brilliant equaliser for the hosts.
Eric Dier put Spurs in the lead in the 21st minute, before James Maddison levelled for Leicester just before the halftime.
Tottenham ran riot on the Foxes’ porous defence in the second half but it was substitute Son Heung-min who shone the brightest as he scored three goals in space of 30 minutes, ending his goal drought this season in style.
Earlier before the South Korean’s hattrick, Rodrigo Bentancur scored a superb off Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi’s error.
Kelechi Iheanacho was a late substitute in the game and didn’t had much impact.
The Brendan Rodgers’ men are yet to record a win this season.
