Convoy Attack: Apostle Suleman promises to take care of families of slain policemen, others

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire And Miracle Ministries, has said the church will now take responsibility for the families of his security attaché and civilian aides who were killed during the attack on his convoy last week.

TheNigerian News had reported that gunmen attacked the convoy of the preacher along the Benin-Auchi road on Friday while returning from a foreign trip. He escaped unhurt. However, three policemen attached to his convoy and four civilian aides were killed.

Addressing his congregation amid tears on Sunday, Apostle Suleman promised to take care of the families of those who lost their lives in the attack.

He said, “The families of the bereaved have become the responsibilities of the church.”

However, lamented over the rate of negative things being said about him on social media.

The cleric slammed a policeman who claimed that he used those who died in the attack for rituals.

He urged the public to await the outcome of the investigation before jumping to a conclusion.
