Tottenham Hotspur forward, Richarlison’s second-half brace was the difference as Brazil launched their 2022 World Cup campaign against Serbia in Group G on Thursday.

The 25-year-old broke the deadlock for Seleção Canarinho in the 62nd minute after the first-half action ended goallessly. He tucked home the rebound after the Serbian goalkeeper parried Vinicius’ strike away.

Eleven minutes on, he completed his brace with a stunning overhead kick after he was set up beautifully by Vinicius.

Brazil will face Switzerland in their next group game on Monday, while Serbia will take on Cameroon who lost to Switzerland in their opener earlier today.
