Labour Party crisis: Pat Utomi, Datti are next to be sacked – Ex-APC presidential aspirant
Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, as an “an individualistic puritanical minimalist.”
According to him, the former Anambra state governor is “an ‘I’ guy” who does things alone.
Garba stated this while reacting to the expulsion of the Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Doyin Okupe, from the party by the Ogun Ogun State chapter.
TheNigerian News reported that Okupe, and 10 others were dismissed from the party over alleged non-financial membership status, high-handedness, and financial recklessness. The Ogun State Chairman of the party, Michael Ashade, announced their dismissal in Abeokuta on Thursday.
Reacting, the APC chieftain said Prof. Pat Utomi, and Obi’s running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, are next to be sacked, stressing that they wasted their time for lack of understanding of who Obi truly is.
In a tweet, Garba wrote; “Now that they sacked Doyin Okupe, the next guy is Prof Utomi, Datti, & then everyone. They don’t understand Peter Obi in the first place, and that’s why they wasted their time.
Peter Obi is an individualistic puritanical minimalist. As an ‘I’ guy, he does things alone, always.”
