Nothing must happen to Reno Omokri – Apostle Johnson Suleman warns
The founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has issued a warning to those threatening the life of former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, over his political alignment.
The cleric gave the warning after Omokri, an ally of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, raised an alarm that a broadcast media consultant of the Labour Party standard bearer, Peter Obi, threatened to “take him out” in audio tapes.
“A certain broadcast journalist, who has turned himself to a mouthpiece of Peter Obi made the mistake of calling someone to threaten to “take me out” after I exposed him as a liar. Unknown to him, the entire conversation was recorded. Such a threat is criminal!,” Omokri alleged via Twitter.
In another tweet, he wrote: “In the taped call, Obi’s consultant broadcast journalist words were very clear. “I will take Reno out in less than 3 minutes” and “Reno will stop existing”. He said even more in unreleased tapes. Threat to life is a criminal act. Peter Obi will be held responsible!”
Reacting to the alleged threat, Apostle Suleman reminded Nigerians that “politics is not a do or die affair.”
He wrote: “Nothing must happen to Reno Omokri..
Nigerians should learn to understand politics is not a do or die affair..I know all these leaders, they are friends..very good ones..
As we hope for a new Nigeria, let’s all do it in love..in brotherhood we stand.”
