Davido to perform at Qatar World Cup closing ceremony
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to grace the stage for the first time since the passing of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
This is as it has been revealed that the music star will be performing at the closing ceremony of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
According to Hong Kong businessman Stephen Hung, Davido will be performing at the closing of the tournament on December 18.
Sharing a picture of the singer via his Instagram story on Thursday, the former joint chairman of Hong Kong-listed, The 13 Holdings Limited, wrote, “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
Davido was set to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup but could not make it due to the death of his son.
The 30 BG honcho did the World Cup theme song ‘Better Together’ in collaboration with Trinidad Cardona and Aisha.
