2023: Pete Edochie endorses son for president
Veteran actor Pete Edochie has endorsed his son and actor Yul Edochie’s presidential ambitions
Yul, 39, shared a video of his dad declaring his support for him in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Pete said he is presenting Yul to Nigerians and he has his endorsement.
“My Father Chief Pete Edochie endorses my 2023 Presidential ambition. God Almighty, take absolute control,” he captioned the post.
Yul had in 2018 showed interest in running for 2019 election.
He said, ““Today I declare my interest to run for President of the greatest country in the world, Nigeria. A blessed country that’s been crippled by decades of bad leadership. Enough is Enough! Fellow Nigerians, stand with me let us bring the problems of our country to the THE LAST BUS STOP”.

For his 39th birthday in January, Yul prayed for grace as he prepared for the elections.
“Happy 39th birthday to me. Last year l asked for wisdom, you gave it to me Lord. This year I ask for your grace oh Lord as I prepare to run for President of Nigeria in 2023. To bring real Peace, Unity & Progress. The youths deserve a chance to fix our Nation So help us God,” he wrote.
Pete had referred to Yul as the president on his birthday.
He said, “Happy birthday Son @yuledochie The Future President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Yul is Pete’s last child.
He has five older siblings.
