The duo of Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have been nominated for the Serie A Player of the Month of January.
The Nigerians each scored five goals for their respective clubs in the month under review.
Osimhen is the league leaders, Napoli and Serie A top scorer with 14 goals, while his compatriot, Lookman is Atalanta’s leading goal scorer and the league’s second-highest hitman with 12 goals.
The Super Eagles duo will battle Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, Roma forward, Paulo Dybala, and Lazio midfielder, Luis Alberto for the individual award.
This is the Nigerian internationals’ third consecutive Serie A Player of the Month nomination.
