Tinubu Returns from Saudi Arabia Trip

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday evening following his official visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit. The summit, a key diplomatic event, brought together leaders and representatives from across the Arab and Islamic worlds to discuss pressing regional and global issues.

Upon his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 8:00 p.m., President Tinubu was warmly welcomed by key members of his administration. Present to receive him were Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff, and Mr. Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

Also on hand to greet the President were Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, and Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The President’s delegation during the trip included high-ranking officials, such as Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser, and Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation. Mohammed Mohammed, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, also accompanied the President.

The trip to Saudi Arabia marked a significant diplomatic engagement for President Tinubu, further strengthening Nigeria’s ties with key Arab and Islamic nations. The President’s return signals the completion of a productive mission aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s international relationships and advancing national interests on the global stage.

This visit underscores the administration’s commitment to promoting international cooperation and securing beneficial partnerships for the country.
