Bwala Accuses Rufai Oseni Of Spreading Lies, Calls Him “Peter Obi Propagandist”

Presidential spokesperson, Daniel Bwala, accused Rufai Oseni of misrepresenting his statements and pushing what he described as “lies and blackmail” in a post on X Tuesday.

Bwala’s reaction followed a segment on Arise News’ The Morning Show, where Oseni, during the ‘What’s Trending’ segment, referred to Bwala’s comment in December 2023 that “even if you give APC 30 years, nothing will work”. Bwala was Atiku Abubakar’s spokesperson at the time.

Speaking during the TV show, Oseni lamented about the rising insecurity in the country and the poor attitude of the All Progressives Congress, APC led government in tackling the menace.

But Bwala took to X and accused Oseni of deliberately misrepresenting his comments and accused the journalist of lacking neutrality.

The presidential spokesman was highly critical of the Arise TV anchor, accusing him of pushing a partisan narrative.

This lier and Peter Obi propagandist is here again spewing lies and quoting what I never said surreptitiously to push his fake news agenda of blackmail and hate vitriol Bwala said.

“The adult toddler has lost the moral high ground to speak as a neutral when everyone knows he is a Peter Obi unofficial spokesman masquerading as a journalist.

“He doesn’t know that if you are not a journalist, you can’t pretend to be one any more than a mechanic can do medical surgery. Animal husbandry. If I borrow the words of Mr Olayinka I would say “you should be doing documentary on animals” and not fake news journalism. “Pathetic.”
