In light of baseless allegations and conjectures regarding the president in the run-up to the general elections in 2027, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, has stated that former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai requires assistance.
Onanuga revealed this in a message posted on Sunday via his official X account.
During a solidarity visit with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, El-Rufai told Nigerians that Tinubu would be “president for life” unless he was ousted in the 2027 election.
But according to Onanuga, El-Rufai’s latest statements demonstrate that he has realized the pointlessness of trying to stop President Tinubu from being re-elected in 2027.
According to him, El-Rufai’s African Democratic Congress-led opposition coalition is a project guaranteed to fail.
He claims that President Tinubu’s most recent visit to Kaduna received overwhelming support from the North, indicating that the conspiracy to remove him is unsustainable.
Uba Sani, the governor of Kaduna state, could want to offer El-Rufai his expert advice in order to help him avoid making up stories about President Tinubu, Onanuga stated.
In light of his recent baseless allegations and conjectures regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai seems to want some assistance.
El-Rufai’s recognition of the futility of his colleagues’ attempts in his new party to stop President Tinubu’s probable reelection in 2027 is becoming more and more clear. A mission doomed to fail, this plot is turning out to be unachievable.
He stated on X, “Governor Uba Sani might want to get in touch with his predecessor, since El-Rufai might use some professional counseling to help him avoid his recent hallucinations and political fabrications on Tinubu and 2027.”
