Event management and planning expert, Akinlolu Jenkins, has urged stakeholders and professionals in the sector to embrace best practices and excellence in espousing professionalism.
Jenkins made the call after he was conferred with a Doctor of Event Management (Honoris Causa) by Myles Leadership University.
The event and planning strategist noted that the world is evolving and therefore the sector cannot afford to remain in the same place as there was the need to embrace excellent service and the global best practices.

This honorary degree adds to Jekins’ impressive portfolio, further establishing him as a leading figure in event management.
Jekins, who has a robust background in managing high-profile events, has continuously demonstrated excellence in planning, execution, and management, earning respect and admiration from peers and industry experts alike.
Myles Leadership University, renowned for its commitment to developing leaders across various disciplines, has recognised Jekins’ exemplary work and leadership in event management.
The certificate, bearing the signature of Dr. Nana Arnold, the Registrar, and Dr. K. Ravi Acharya, the Vice Chancellor, acknowledges Jekins’ fulfillment of the prescribed requirements set by the Board of Trustees, Council, and Senate of Myles Leadership University.
