Tinubu’s Reforms Indicate Understanding Of Problems – Group

The Ahead Nigeria Initiative said President Bola Tinubu, through his reforms, has shown deep knowledge and understanding of the Nigeria problems and a master plan to rescue the nation.

The group added that the president is revamping the nation and positioning it for effective service delivery.

They however urged Nigerians to discontinue the mass purchase of all foreign products to grow the local economy in line with the economic reforms initiated by President Bola Tinubu.

The group passed a passed a vote of confidence on Tinubu, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Dr Abdullahi and Ganduje for their performances in office.

In an inaugural press conference, the convener of the group, Alamoh Kehinde Samuel, said Tinubu, in ending the fuel subsidy regime, doubled the Statutory Revenue Allocation of the country to about 10.1tn, an increase of about 23.56% compared to the preceding year of 2022.

He said the fuel subsidy regime which is a cog in the wheel that hung over Nigeria for decades, stunting her growth has now become a thing of the past.

“The President has shown deep knowledge and understanding of the Nigeria problems and came up with a master plan to rescue the nation.

“The president is revamping the nation and positioning it for effective service delivery.

“Though the vital step of subsidy removal to save the country from hitting the rocks brought momentary discomfort to Nigerians, President Tinubu has never failed in appealing to Nigerians to see the current inconveniences as a price we must all pay to save our country from total collapse.

“Considering the people’s pains, the government rolled out intervention programs to help cushion the unintended negative impacts of the reforms and policies.

“These interventions include minimum wage and salary increase, students loans scheme and scholarships, supporting states and local governments to enable them to cater for the less privileged, providing grains to households, fertilizers to farmers, cash transfers to people with low incomes and plans to roll out over 11,000 CNG buses for affordable public transportation among others.

“The landmark presentation of 2025 Budget allocations of N4.91 trillion for Defence and Security, N4.06 trillion for Infrastructure, N2.48 trillion for Health and for Education, N3.52 trillion underscores the importance of security of lives and properties of all Nigerians, without security development and progress can not strive.

“President Tinubu’s reforms in Aviation, railway Infrastructure and Security are visible, laudable and commendable,” he said.
