With immediate effect, Kabir Sani-Giant, Governor Nasir Idris’s special adviser on power and politics, has been suspended by the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, the party secretary in Kebbi State, issued a statement on Sunday announcing the suspension in Birnin Kebbi.
He disclosed that on February 8, Mr. Sani-Giant played a practical joke on dignitaries, political figures, and government officials by bringing a snake to Government House.

According to Mr. Muhammad-Kimba, the behavior could cause the party to be embarrassed and lose credibility.
The APC’s constitution was broken by Mr. Sani-Giant’s acts, he continued.
He claimed that his actions were considered embarrassing and insulting by the party.
“He is still suspended pending additional investigation and potential disciplinary action, which could result in expulsion if it is repeated,” Mr. Muhammad-Kimba stated.
