He said that President Tinubu is steering the nation in the correct way and that the macro-level reforms are already evident.

He admitted that the current administration’s reforms are hurting Nigerians, but he also said that in the coming years, the populace will value the work the President is doing.
Speaking to reporters at the National Assembly compound on Tuesday, Kalu reportedly made the comments.
Nigerians are accustomed to earning money easily without having to work for it, according to Senator Kalu, but President Tinubu has asked that the proper actions be taken since taking office.
“Let me be honest with you,” he said. I am not a politician; I am a businessman. Only a handful of things are not taking place. It’s possible that Mr. President’s policies won’t be working in the long run. Yes, I agree that people are still suffering. However, rather than at the lesser level, it has begun to seep in at the macro level. Therefore, I’m optimistic that the President’s plans will be implemented and that Nigerians would recognize his efforts over the course of the next two to three years.
“I know the statistics, and this is the first President since 1960 to end the fuel subsidy. The dollar rates were combined for the first time by this president. Nigerians are not accustomed to working hard, which is why we are suffering. We are accustomed to receiving quick cash. In the past, people would use their phones while sitting in their homes, acquire money, and sell for extremely high prices.
“People use their tank farms, sit at home, gather papers, and earn money.” According to this president, if you’re prepared to earn money, do it the proper way. Leave it if you’re not ready.
Nigeria Would Benefit From Tinubu Serving a Second Term
The former governor of Abia State criticized President Tinubu’s recent endorsement for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket, stating that it is “in the interest of everyone, both in the North and the South, for Tinubu to return.”
No one wants Nigeria to collapse, he continued, and Tinubu would only be out of office by 2031 at best.

“We don’t want this nation to fall apart. We want it to stay in our nation. I adore Nigeria. I’m proud to be a Nigerian and a product of this nation. A lot of people lack pride. It’s not acceptable to witness foreigners disparaging Nigeria and using profanity. Cursing your president or the nation is bad, regardless of whether you belong to the ruling party or the opposition. Tinubu is not the proprietor of Nigeria. Is he the proprietor? Is Tinubu the owner, in your opinion as journalists? No. We are the nation’s owners. He can stay for a maximum of eight years. We reclaim our nation after that. Does Buhari’s presence in Daura make sense? Tinubu will therefore eventually visit Lagos again in 2031. He will return.
“You should travel to Lagos if you wish to see him. Nigerians should, above all, pray for the president to live a long and healthy life to finish his term in office, Kalu continued.
