Defence Minister Explains Why Bodies of Terrorists Killed in Trump’s Airstrikes Were Not Recovered

According to Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd), Minister of Defense, the type of weapons employed in the recent US airstrikes in Nigeria prevented the recovery of the physical remains of terrorists who had been neutralized.

In an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time show on Thursday, Musa reportedly claimed that the terrorists were eliminated using cutting-edge weapons, such as Tomahawk missiles, which left no trace.

“The way they were neutralized, you wouldn’t see anything, so they wouldn’t know,” he stated. The Tomahawks were a new type of weapon.

The defense commander said that reports of several Tomahawk missiles failing to explode were part of military strategy.

“That is all part of the tactics,” he observed. Conflict attacks involve tricking your adversary. All of those are included.

Musa claims that Nigerian security forces were simultaneously conducting coordinated attacks on other sites while the US operation was underway.

He went on to say that the operations had produced results and promised Nigerians that more achievements would come.

“At least Nigerians are seeing the results, and they will see more things coming ahead,” he stated.

“As we speak, numerous more regions were being neutralized by the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Indeed, since January, a great deal has been accomplished.
