2027: Tinubu and APC in Panic Mode – Amaechi

President Bola Tinubu and the leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are allegedly in a panic ahead of the 2027 general elections, according to former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi.

Speaking to supporters in Rivers State, Amaechi, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted that the President and other prominent APC figures were not as popular as they claimed to be.

In addition, he charged that the ruling party was trying to scare Nigerian voters before the election.

“I believed that the individuals you were inquiring about were well-liked, as stated by the President.

They are afraid, which is why they are acting in such a panicked manner. Let’s gather on the field if you’re not afraid, and let everyone select who they want.

They are attempting to impose politicians and individuals on the populace. Now, ADC gives you the chance to select the ideal candidate,” Amaechi stated.

The former governor of Rivers State stated that the coalition party would mostly rely on grassroots mobilization in order to minimize voter indifference in the 2027 elections.

“Our remedies to intimidation would rely on mobilization; it needs to mobilize the populace.

They want apathy, which is why they are acting in this way. They don’t want you to cast a ballot because they know you won’t support the APC if you do.

“You will ask yourself, ‘What have they done?’ even if you want to vote for APC. Was it a coastal raid from Lagos to Calabar? Where is the coastal road between Lagos and Calabar?

“I was the minister of transportation, and I can provide proof of my actions,” he said.

Amaechi went on to outline some of his accomplishments while serving as Minister of Transportation, emphasizing that Nigerians from all areas and political persuasions profited from the late Muhammadu Buhari’s government.

Amaechi continued, “Let this government show one thing they have done, either in the North or the South, aside from stealing money.”
