Tems Opens Up: “I Don’t Fall in Love Anymore”

Tems, a superstar in the Afrobeats genre, has declared that she has lost faith in love.

In a recent interview with media personality Korty EO, Tems said that many men today are motivated solely by physical desires.

Tems voiced dissatisfaction with contemporary dating, implying that many men are only interested in surface-level physical relationships and have no real desire for emotional connection.

“I don’t fall in love anymore because a lot of these men just want to penetrate,” she declared.

Tems, however, has described being jeered at a school function during a stage performance.

In an interview with Big Boy TV, Tems reportedly discussed the difficulties she encountered early in her musical career.

The R&B singer claimed that in addition to being jeered, she was also harassed with plastic bottles.

The “Crazy Tings” songstress claims that she was still committed to pursuing a career in music in spite of the embarrassing episode and several such rejections.

“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer, and I thought I was going to receive a standing ovation,” she recalled.

But I received jeers. They even hurled bottles of plastic at me.

Tems acknowledged that some of the early rejections she encountered might have resulted from her determination to maintain her uniqueness rather than perform covers or well-known sounds like the majority of her contemporaries.
