Gov. Yusuf, Ganduje, Others Donate N50m For Tinubu’s Re-Election Forms

Among the hundreds of party stakeholders who donated N50 million for the purchase of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid forms for 2027 were Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and former APC National Chairman, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

Stakeholders of the party in Kano have unanimously adopted President Tinubu as the sole presidential candidate of the party for the 2027 general elections and pledged to donate N50 million towards the purchase of his expression of interest and nomination forms.

The decision was taken at a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held at the Coronation Hall of the Kano Government House, where party leaders reiterated their commitment to the continuation of the President’s leadership.

This was contained in a statement issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State.

Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi moved a motion for the adoption of President Tinubu which was unanimously supported by stakeholders at the meeting.

Also speaking during the session, the Kano State APC Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, said the state chapter originally planned to buy the nomination forms outrightly, but later decided to give financial assistance in support of the President’s candidature.

“We have agreed to contribute the sum of N50 million towards the purchase of expression of interest and nomination forms for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.

The stakeholders said the endorsement is a clear indication of their trust in the President’s leadership and continuing reforms, and their united determination to see the party triumphant in the 2027 general elections.

The meeting also reaffirmed the endorsement of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as the APC’s sole governorship candidate in Kano State, in a bid to strengthen unity and cohesion within the party.

The Kano State Government lauded the stakeholders for their unflinching support and urged all party members to be united in moving the collective interest of the party and the development of the state forward.
