Businessman, Isaac Fayose has described the APC-led Federal Government as the worst in Nigeria’s history.
Ayo Fayose, the younger brother of the former Ekiti governor, made the claim in a Facebook post on Sunday night.
The APC seized the reins from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had been in power for 16 years, through then-late President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
In May 2023, Buhari was succeeded by APC’s Bola Tinubu.
Fayose said that the APC governments did worse than their predecessors.
“In the history of our country, APC government is the worst government,” he said.
He also criticised Tinubu, who was governor of Lagos from 1999-2007 and remains hugely powerful there, for not improving the fortunes of Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre.
He said Lagos should be on par with Dubai, the commercial hub of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), but has not lived up to expectations.
Earlier, Fayose dismissed reports that he owed a former employee known as Kay Crown for several months on social media.
Kay Crown took to X and stated that his experience working with Fayose in 2015 was “really bad”.
In a video, the businessman responded and tagged his accuser a “APC agent” and the allegation an infamy campaign being masterminded against him by members of the ruling party.
