2027: Why NDC Zoned Presidency To South – Kwankwasiyya Movement

Under the guise of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, supporters of former Kano State Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso claim that the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) zoned the presidency to Southern Nigeria due to the conviction in a single Nigeria.

In an interview with Arise Television on Monday, Habeeb Saleh, the Movement’s National Coordinator, made this claim.

He asserts that Nigerians must have faith in the party and all of its candidates to consistently prioritize the nation’s interests.

“Believing in one Nigeria is the result of zoning the NDC presidency to the South.” In actuality, however, decisions are made that would inevitably stabilize the Nigerian people as a whole.

“That choice must be such that it fosters mutual understanding and trust between us.

Therefore, the NDC argues that all Nigerians must be on the same page in order to justify really allocating this presidency to the South. Additionally, they must be confident that the party and all of its members are acting in Nigeria’s best interests, he stated.
