The submission, witnessed by party faithful, stakeholders and party supporters, marks the official start of her bid to return to the Senate for another term.
“I thank the people of Kogi Central and the members of the PDP for their continued support and confidence in my leadership,” she said shortly after submitting the forms.

“My decision to seek re-election was motivated by the need to sustain purposeful representation and deepen democratic governance at the grassroots,” she said.
I will keep fighting for my people and for democracy. “This journey is not about an individual ambition but about continuing purposeful representation, empowering our youths and women and ensuring that the dividends of democracy gets to every community,” she said.

She said her priority remained on infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery and opening up economic opportunities for the constituents across Kogi Central.

“We have begun a movement of hope, inclusion and progress. ‘With God’s grace and the support of our people, we will continue to build a future where every citizen feels represented and valued,’ she added.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, who has risen to prominence in the National Assembly for her advocacy on governance and social welfare issues, expressed confidence that her re-election bid would consolidate the ongoing development efforts across Kogi Central.
