Again, Nigeria breaks daily Covid-19 tally with 1,664 new infections
For the third successive day, Nigeria surpassed its daily record number of coronavirus cases.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday, confrimed1,664 new infections in the country.
The latest figure surpassed the 1,354 cases recorded across the country on Tuesday, confirming that Nigeria is experiencing a second wave of coronavirus
The NCDC made this known on its verified Twitter account.
Five deaths were also recorded in Nigeria.
The NCDC stated that the new infections bring the country’s total to 94,369.
The new cases were recorded from 22 States, including the Federal Capital Territory.
