Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy is set to make history as the first African musician to perform at a UEFA Champions League final.
The 31-year-old has been confirmed to be among the headline artists scheduled to perform at the UCL final in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday, June 10.
Sharing a video of the singer announcing his upcoming performance, Champions League Twitter handle tweeted, “Big news! @burnaboy will be performing at the Champions League final in Istanbul alongside another amazing headliner! 🎶 🔥

Burna Boy revealed in the video that he would be performing at the kickoff show by Pepsi.
He said, “Hello, everyone. This is Burna Boy. I’ve got some big news. I’ll be performing at the UEFA Champions League final Kickoff show by Pepsi.”
It would be recalled that in December, another Nigerian singer, Davido performed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
Burna Boy also recently performed at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show alongside Rema and Tems.
