Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has named the two teams that have impressed him at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tournament in Morocco.
Speaking on a recent episode of Global Football Insights, Oliseh named Nigeria and Sudan as the teams that have impressed him with their performances in Morocco.
The former Juventus midfielder said: “Of course, Super Eagles is the team I am fully behind that has impressed me, but the team that has also impressed me are the Sudanese.
“This is a nation [Susan] that is currently going through civil war, and when I see the way these boys are fighting and to be able to have milked out a victory most recently is totally in principle.”
Nigeria are already through to the Round of 16 and will face Uganda in their final Group C tie on Tuesday evening.
Sudan, on the other hand, are in third position in Group E with three points from two matches and will face Burkina Faso in their final group game on Wednesday.
