AFCON: 7 countries eliminated from tournament

At least seven countries have been eliminated so far from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.

They are Uganda, Botswana, Zambia, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Zimbabwe.
Uganda is the latest team to exit the tournament following their 3-1 defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday. The Cranes finished with one point in Group C, behind Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania.

Meanwhile, seven countries have already qualified for the Round of 16. They are Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Morocco, South Africa and Egypt.
