The Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives and distinguished Member representing Ado, Ogbadibo, and Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Chief (Dr) Philip Agbese, Okanga K’Agila, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to a father figure and visionary leader, Chief Barrister John Agbaji Attah Ochoga, Life Bencher and Akpa Olofu as he marks another milestone in his remarkable journey through life.
In a statement, Dr. Agbese fondly recalled first meeting Chief Ochoga in 1998, having long admired him from afar. He highlighted the profound influence Chief Ochoga has had on his life, particularly during his time at the Federal Government College, Ugwolawo, where he attended secondary school. “Since that time, he has remained a steady pillar in my life, culminating in the immense support he gave me in 2023, a gesture I will never forget,” he said.
Dr. Agbese, who recently named a major community project—the Akpa Olofu Civic Center, Agila in honour of the living legend, noted that Chief Ochoga’s legacy is one of integrity, dedication, and an unyielding commitment to societal progress.
He further commended Chief Ochoga’s tireless contributions to community development, describing him as a beacon of hope, progress, and selfless service. “His impact on national development is indelible. He has helped shape a more just and equitable society. Words cannot fully capture the essence of this elder statesman—he is our own Awolowo,” Agbese remarked.
In his birthday message, Dr. Agbese prayed for continued divine blessings upon Chief Ochoga, asking God to grant him long life, robust health, and enduring protection for his family. He also expressed hope that the elder statesman’s exemplary leadership and life of service would continue to inspire future generations.
We join the Enone Servant, Chief (Dr) Philip Agbese, in celebrating the birthday of this illustrious leader, whose life and work stand as a testament to visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the public good.
