According to Joe Igbokwe, a prominent figure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State, has a significant character problem.
It was reported that Igbokwe’s comment came after the former minister revealed that he, along with many Nigerians, is hungry.

During the festivities for his 60th birthday in Abuja on Saturday, Amaechi stated that the opposition coalition has the ability to oust President Bola Tinubu.

Igbokwe responded in a Facebook post, stating that Amaechi has a terrible temperament and should not be taken seriously.

Igbokwe reflected on his encounter with Amaechi, stating, “If you have had personal experience with former Governor Rotimi Amaechi as I did at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, in 2015 when PMB came to campaign in Lagos, you will not take him seriously at all. His character has a serious flaw.

A private campaign was organized for PMB by the Hausa Community in Lagos, and Amechi attended as the president’s representative.

“Amaechi entered the venue and instructed all Arewa leaders involved in organizing the event to vacate the podium. They turned him down and confronted him without limits. Amaechi displays a poor temperament.

“During the PMB campaign in Lagos in 2015, I had a comparable experience with Amaechi at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.”
