Bandits Abduct 40 Worshippers During Morning Prayers in Zamfara

At least forty worshippers were abducted by armed men from a mosque in Gidan Turbe village, Tsafe Local Government Area, Zamfara State, on Monday morning.
The gunmen reportedly encircled the mosque and forced the worshippers to leave at gunpoint during the early morning prayers, which started at around 5:30 a.m.

Following the kidnapping, the victims were led into neighboring woodlands along the Gohori axis, according to Zagazola Makama, a security journal that focuses on the Lake Chad region.

The community is now afraid and apprehensive as a result of the occurrence.

As at the time this story was filed, the police had not confirmed the event.

In other events, gospel singer Femi Solar disclosed that armed bandits broke into his house on Friday night.

Numerous personal possessions, including phones, devices, jewelry, wristwatches, foreign currency, and other valuables, were reportedly lost as a result of the incident.

The 41-year-old Apala gospel performer warned people not to answer calls or messages that might be from his pilfered gadgets after sharing information about the event on Instagram.

He clarified that until the problem is fixed, he can only be contacted via a temporary line.

Following the event, Solar, who is best known for songs like Emi Ni and Oniduro Mi, reassured fans that he and his family were safe.
