Popular singer, Crown Uzama, aka Shallipopi, has said the ability to provide for his parents without much struggle is the best thing that happened to him this year.

The ‘Obapluto’ crooner said before hitting stardom he had to struggle before he could provide for his family.

Shallipopi emphasized that being able to cater for his parents is his best achievement this year, stressing that he values that more than the influence and affluence his fame has brought him.

The singer featured in a recent episode of the Is This Seat Taken? Podcast hosted by actress, Chinasa Anukam.

Asked what is his greatest achievement of the year, Shallipopi said, “The best thing that has happened to me is that I’m now able to provide for my parents. It’s not the way it was before that I’ll be struggling before I would cater for them.

“But now, I can actually take care of them. Both of them together and I will feel nothing. So, that’s my best achievement that I’ve had this year. It’s not the money, girs or anything.”
