Idris Wase, the deputy speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, and a few other candidates for the speakership of the 10th Assembly’s House of Representatives broke into the APC’s national secretariat on Wednesday in the afternoon.
Wase’s visit to the secretariat coincides with the debate surrounding the 10th National Assembly’s zoning template for leadership positions.
The ruling party’s National Working Committee (NWC) released a zoning template on Monday, according to a previous report from Naija News.
Sen. Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) would be the Senate President, according to a document released by the party’s NWC on Monday at the conclusion of the NWC meeting in Abuja.
Barau Jubrin (Kano), a senator from the North West, is the vice president of the senate. Hon. Abass Tajudeen (Kaduna), speaker of the North West House of Representatives.

On Wednesday, Wase’s convoy arrived at the party headquarters around noon and went straight to Abdullahi Adamu’s office, the APC National Chairman.
