On Wednesday, however, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun ordered the Intelligence Response Team to be deployed in order to ensure the Afenifere Youth Leader’s safe release. This was in response to a video that went viral in which Olajuni, who was at gunpoint, begged Nigerians to help him and raise money for his release.
“He has been released,” stated Biodun Aderohunmu, National Secretary of the Youths Council, in confirming Olajuni’s release to Punch.
Details will be added later.
