Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has died.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, Mr. Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at a hospital in London, where he had been receiving treatment for several weeks.
His death was confirmed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, who posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”
