Breaking: Tinubu reassigns three Ministers

The transfer of three Ministers has received the president’s approval, Bola Tinubu.

His Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, wrote a statement with these words on it.

Engr. Abubakar Momoh has transferred to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development from the Federal Ministry of Youth.

A Minister-designate will soon be given the federal ministry of youth.

The following changes have been made to the Ministers-designate assigned to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy:

(A) H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola is promoted to honorary minister of the marine and blue economy.

(B) The Honorable Minister of the Interior, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, is reassigned.

(C) The Honorable Sa’idu Alkali is reassigned to serve as the Transportation Minister.

Additionally, the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources now serves as the home office for both Ministers of State for the Oil and Gas sector, who hold the following titles:

(i) Senator Heineken Lokobiri is the Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

(ii) The Honorable Ekperipe Ekpo is the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Gas.

The Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management’s name change to the Federal Ministry of Environment was also authorized by the President.

“All aforementioned modifications become effective immediately under the President’s instructions,”
