Buhari to address Nigerians on Sunday as he leaves office

On Sunday, May 28, at 7 a.m., President Muhammadu Buhari will make his final broadcast as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

This was revealed in a statement issued on Saturday by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

“Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are urged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” Adesina said.

Buhari is expected to hand over power to President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 29.
