Friday saw the official opening of the Presidential/VIP Wing at the State House Medical Center in Abuja by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).
The 2,485 square meter hospital is a specialized intensive care facility for the President, Vice President, members of their close families, and other VIPs.

Five consultation rooms for different specialties, including respiratory, cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, and general consultation are located in the presidential/VIP Wing and will be staffed by a team of medical professionals.
The hospital offers a diagnostic suite with MRI, CT scan, and endoscopic equipment in addition to a specialized X-ray room with a digital X-ray machine.
