“Building Castles With Pebbles” unveils In Abuja

A reality stint of literature brand unveiled in Abuja on Saturday with the formal launching of a human interest guide “Building Castles With Pebbles” authored by the Founder of ANTODEC Foundation, Flt. Lt. Anthonia Egbujiobi (Esq).

Reviewing the Book, Mrs Chinwe Ikaraoha of the National Orientation Agency extolled the versatility and human interest approach adopted by the author.

Ikaraoha enjoined schools to adopt reading habits by stocking libraries with great materials to inspire the younger generation in choosing profitable careers.

She encouraged the author to keep up the good work as espoused in ANTODEC Foundation, a non governmental organization (NGO) founded by her in 2017 to cater for the downtrodden which inspired the newly launched masterpiece.

“I wish I have time to visit schools and read this book in sequence with students. It is a great gift to this generation from an excellent officer.

“With people like Anthonia, I still have hope in Nigeria” she asserted.

In his address, the Chairman of the occasion, Mr Anthony Odeh applauded the professional approach of the author. He encouraged guests and members of the public to avail themselves copies of the book to grasp the essence of knowing “how little can make a difference”.

Also reviewing the book, Mr Iyeru Oluwole appraised the importance of the book in the society which he said is anchored on a true life experience of the author.

He also commended the diligence and hardworking nature of the author laced on the margins of “determination and focus” which according to him is inspiring.

Oluwole noted the generosity of the author which he measured in comparison with the over ambitions strive of the youths in Nigeria.

“It is a book I recommend for anyone suffering whatsoever form of recessions. The book is a manual for a productive life. I noted something about the author, she gives a lot and if you want to attain greater heights you must learn the act of giving to the society”.

In her remarks, the author of the book, Flight Lieutenant Anthonia Egbujuiobi thanked guests for gracing the occasion.

She disclosed that another book authored by her is presently under review by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadeeq Abubakar and shall soon be launched.

Egbujiobi said “Building Castles With Pebbles” is a clarion call aimed at the reorientation of the mindsets. She posited that the book will further encourage diligence, proactive nature and generosity amongst citizens especially the upcoming generation.

High points of the event was a broadcast of “Building Castles With Pebbles” movie premiere.

The occasion had in attendance members of the academia, legal luminaries, colleagues of the author from the Nigerian Air force, representative of the Chief of Army Staff, representative of the Minister of Defence, Executive Secretary National Human Rights Commission, members of the Nigerian Bar as well civil societies and corporate organizations.
