Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, exhorted President Bola Tinubu on Saturday to govern Nigeria with the fear of God and to avoid the temptation of sentimentality in the selection of candidates for his cabinet and other important positions.
Oladeji asked the president to follow God’s guidance to ensure the selection of the appropriate individuals in the process, noting that doing so was essential to the growth of the nation and the restoration of hope for Nigerians. He said the focus should be on picking patriotic people with the ability to deliver.
At a press conference held in Erio Ekiti to announce the start of the week-long Apostle Ayo Babalola Power Explosion, Erio 2023 of CAC Canaanland in partnership with Mountain of Mercy, Erio Ekiti, with the theme “How precious the name of Jesus,” the priest spoke.
Nigerians should set aside at least a minute each day to confess and prophesy positive things about their country as part of attempts to reroute Nigeria to the path of grandeur, according to Oladeji, who urged churches not to give up on praying for the restoration of the nation’s glory.
According to the priest, the attempt to restart Nigeria and pull it out of the woods would be successful with the removal of petroleum subsidies, although some good things would start out harshly.
People may argue that the withdrawal of subsidies at this time is risky, but he asserted that doing so might pave the way for the country of Nigeria to overcome its many obstacles and find lasting answers to its issues. Let’s therefore continue to pray for our nation and its leaders because I am confident that a miracle will occur.
Let us continue to pray for God’s will for our nation, added Oladeji, who claimed that God appointed Tinubu as president for a reason. No matter our ethnicity or religious beliefs, let’s all make it our mission to dedicate at least one minute to expressing our gratitude for Nigeria. That will cause a manifestation, therefore let’s do that.
Regarding Tinubu’s cabinet, he stated, “If you look at our incoming president, the way I see it, God will guide and direct him in choosing individuals he would work with and members of his cabinet and I believe he will not choose inappropriate people to post.I’ll also suggest to him that he follow God’s guidance in that and not make the appointments based on sentiments of an ethnic or tribal nature. The cleric remarked, “He ought to treat everyone equally.
“The 2023 power explosion would be yet another occasion where God will intervene in the struggles of many as barrens will receive their babies, the sick will be healed, and yokes will be broken,” Oladeji said. He said that prayers will be offered for the nation and for specific people. Ever since the start of the power boom, God has been incredibly dependable. Comer’s should concentrate on God.
