Certificate Forgery Allegation: UNN Accused Of Tampering With Nnaji’s Academic Records

According to Robert Ngwu, the spokesperson for Uche Nnaji, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has allegedly altered and manipulated his principal’s academic records.

According to reports, the accusation was made against Nnaji after he was appointed Minister to President Bola Tinubu and is now being accused of forging certificates.

The school was keeping his academic transcript, Nnaji, who is currently involved in a legal battle over the issue, informed Federal High Court Justice Hauwa Yilwa on Monday.

After earning a second-class honors (lower division) Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry in 1985, Nnaji maintained that the university had no right to keep withholding his academic achievements.

In response to inquiries during an interview on Tuesday’s “The Morning Brief” on Channels Television, Nnaji’s assistant claimed that the UNN was manipulating his principal’s academic records for political purposes.

According to Ngwu, a trustworthy source had exposed persistent manipulation within the organization.

The assistant also stated that Nnaji had made multiple pleas for the court’s protection at Monday’s most recent court session.

He claimed, “He didn’t request that the school keep his academic records private. He advised them not to alter or tamper since things from a private student’s file were made public online, according to evidence we observed. In other words, someone is doing that on purpose.

According to a reliable source, there were some manipulations taking place. The transcript should be made public, as the minister requested the court’s protection.

“You have a PDP member with a card who serves as an acting VC. He is not meant to be a VC in regular circumstances. However, you have a venture capitalist who has been a politician for decades. And because it’s legal politics, and you know how legal politics are, the minister was nervous.

“The PDP has managed to stay in power in Enugu for the past 26 years by avoiding competition during elections. They target anyone who challenges them, discredits them, and finds a means to prevent them from having a party to run under.

The school’s manipulation and tampering with his academic files was the problem. In essence, it is to make his transcript available. He paid for and requested his transcript in May, but it was never made available.
