Entertainer and activist, Charly Boy, was reduced to tears on Tuesday in reaction to his sack by Our Mumu Don Do National Secretary, Raphel Adebayor.

The 68-year-old controversial singer had promised to hold a tell-all interview in response to allegations that he collected money from President Muhammadu Buhari’s election campaign spokesman, Festus Keyamo.

Fellow activist, Deji Adeyanju released an audio recording of Charly Boy allegedly admitting that he was paid by Mr Keyamo to release a diss track criticising Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

A video also appeared online showing Charly Boy purportedly admitting that he got paid in nine figures.

However, the maverick cross-dresser was clouded with emotions as he responded to his dismissal from the civil society group.

” First I will like to clear the conspiracy in the Our Mumu Don do movement. I’ve been noticing some movement by Deji and Ralph,” he began.

” There were insinuations that I collected money from Festus Keyamo when I only called him to see how to facilitate Deji Adeyanju’s release.

“In my quest to see why his character suddenly changed, I guess it’s cos of the rumour that I did a song against Atiku which even dissed APC.

” Which kind of music will someone sing that he will earn 9 digits, N100 million, when you are not Davido or Wizkid?

“No politician can count that money.

“Why will Festus give me money for a song causing both parties.

“The shocking thing is Ralph stopped e from accessing social media. He used Our Mumu Don Do accounts to send false messages.

“Ralph, you want to remove the hope of Nigerian youth, the hope of 68-year-old Nigerian. The same movement I’ve received tear gas for.

“I was almost killed in the fight. This same fight Ralph wants to take away from me.”
