Kenneth Okonkwo, the former spokesman for Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed’s Presidential Campaign Organization, has urged Nigerians to join the coalition against the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Nollywood veteran turned politician stated that only a united opposition can defeat President Bola Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 election.
In an interview, the former Labour Party (LP) chieftain stated that neither the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nor the LP can defeat Tinubu without a partnership in 2027.
According to Okonkwo, the APC is a group of professional criminals that are out to ruin the country.
“The opposition made the error of separating itself in 2023. They must unite in 2027 to win the presidential election. “The APC is an association of professional criminals,” he explained.
He made the call on his 𝕏 account on Thursday, after paying a visit to former SGF Babachir Lawal in Abuja.
He said that his conversation with Lawal focused on the coalition move.
He asked Nigerians to do their part in preserving the country from the APC’s misrule.
“Coalition discussions continue. Constructive chat with one of the Coalition’s leaders, Babachir Lawal. The task of creating a great Nigeria falls to all of us. We have no cause to continue suffering in a place that has been blessed by God. Contribute your fair share to the march to a great Nigeria by voting out the misruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He wrote, “May God help us as we help ourselves.”
